Is this a subscription?
No. Renovation Control is a one-time purchase of $14.99. There is no account or recurring subscription.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. After you download and extract the package, the tool works locally in your browser without an internet connection.
Where is my project data saved?
Your project autosaves in the browser on the device you are using. For anything important, use the built-in Export backup feature and keep the backup file somewhere safe.
Why not use Excel or Google Sheets?
If your existing spreadsheet already makes the same scope easy to compare, use it. Renovation Control is for the homeowner who wants a ready-made quote comparator, scope-coverage warning, budget tracker, and change-order log without building the structure from scratch.
Does it read my contractor PDFs automatically?
No. You enter the line items and amounts you want to compare. That keeps the comparison grounded in what you decide to record, but it does not extract, interpret, or verify contractor documents for you.
Which browsers are compatible?
Use a current desktop or laptop browser: Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox. Quote and budget tables are designed for a larger screen, so a phone is not the primary experience.
What does one purchase allow?
One purchase gives one customer a personal, non-transferable license to use Renovation Control for their own projects and to keep their own backups. Do not resell, share, redistribute, or make the product available to others.
Who sells and supports it?
Praelo is the product brand. For product questions, use the Praelo contact form on Payhip. Check the seller and refund details shown at checkout before purchasing. Our custom-domain support mailbox is not yet available.
What are the refund and support terms?
Final refund and support terms will be displayed before payment. This is a digital download: read them before buying, and contact the listed support address if the package cannot be opened or materially differs from its description.
Can it tell me which contractor to hire?
No. It organizes the quote and budget information you enter and shows when your entered comparison has blank items. It cannot validate a quote, discover unentered work, confirm a price is fair, or choose a contractor. Hiring, contract, permit, and technical decisions are yours to verify with qualified professionals.
Can I use it for any renovation?
It is designed for homeowners comparing contractor quotes and tracking a single renovation budget. You can name categories and line items to fit your project, but it is not professional estimating or construction-management software.
